Licensed Behavior Consultants are needed in the agency's Group ABA services in the Hazleton and Wilkes-Barre areas.

Group ABA services are highly regarded. Consider joining a team of behavioral health professionals who work closely with early intervention and autism support classrooms within local school districts.

The Behavior Consultant position works collaboratively with agency staff, school personnel and caregivers to identify behavioral goals and develop and monitor effective treatment plans for clients. Increasing functional communication, teaching social skills and minimizing problem behaviors in children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder are essential job responsibilities of a Behavior Consultant.

Job Responsibilities:

· Provide consultative services to identified classrooms.

· Develop assessments and treatment plans.

· Provide training and supervision to all staff implementing the plan.

· Assist school personnel and the family in understanding the child's diagnosis and appropriate strategies that are proactive in nature and strength based.

Requirements: Master's degree and professional license, including BSL, LSW, & LPC. Individuals without a license may qualify for an Associate Behavior Consultant position.
