An exciting opportunity is now open for a Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Supervisor in Lehigh and Northampton Counties. The employee would directly report to the Lehigh Valley Office. The Mobile Psych Rehab services play an important role with individuals receiving services, communicating with outside agency providers and remaining independent in the community of their choice. As a supervisor, it is overseeing the staff and ensuring that paperwork is completed in a timely manner.

Duties -

• Direct supervision of Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation staff with documented face-to-face contact at least twice per month. Coaching and role modeling of team and psychiatric rehabilitation principles.
• Responsible for direct supervision of Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation staff, including orientation, training, recognition of accomplishments, supportive counseling, role modeling, monitoring performance plans, and implementing and monitoring disciplinary policy and career pathway discussions.
• Meets formally and informally with Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation staff.
• Responsible for probationary/annual evaluations of Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation staff. Ensures staff providing psychiatric rehabilitation services completes Department approved 12-hour psychiatric rehabilitation orientation course no later than 1 year after hire.
• Assists in covering appointments during absence of assigned Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation staff.
• Must be available to provide services to individuals receiving Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation services where and when these services are needed. This includes requests of both an emergency and non-emergency nature and will necessitate evening and weekend availability on the part of the staff. This will be accomplished through flexible working schedules and through participation in an on-call system.
• Reviews written and electronic documentation for: accuracy, timeliness, writing quality, person-centered, reason for referral reflected, measurable, show progress, consistency between documents and psychosocial principles as based on a Recovery Model.
• Ensures compliance with all state/county/BH-MCO and Management Oversight regulations.
• In conjunction with the Program Manager, reviews and revises documentation as needed.
• Provides intake services for the Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Team inclusive of individuals with a mental health diagnoses, individuals with a dual diagnosis of mental health and a substance use disorder, individuals with high functioning autism and individuals with a mental health disorder and forensic involvement. Intake Services are provided at the most convenient location for the individual receiving services inclusive of hospitals, prisons, group homes or any other community facility.

Pay Rate and Schedule: Supervisor - $22.00/hr; Full time (37.5 hrs/week), in-office/mobile position. Typical work schedule M-F hours vary according to the caseload, with an occasional evening. An agency vehicle is available for use.

REQUIREMENTS - Mobile Psych Rehab Supervisor -

• Bachelor's Degree and three years work experience in mental health direct service, 1 year of which must be work experience in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service (PRS).
• Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification must be attained within 2 years from the date of hire as Psych Rehabilitation Supervisor (Mobile Psych Rehab Services); or
• CPRP certification and three years work experience in mental health direct service.
