This position is a skills teaching position that follows the regulations set forth by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services. This program follows the Principles of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Boston University.

Connecting individuals in service who reside in either Lehigh or Northampton Counties to either individual/families to share their house and life with. This position assists with coordinating this, ensuring paperwork is completed in a timely manner, and that the home follows the state regulations. This program allows individuals supported to live with a caregiver and incorporate the individual within the caregiver's life.

As a Program Manager (Residential Services), you are responsible for the selection, training, scheduling and management of each employee, and the team as a whole, for assigned residential program, as well as assisting other residential programs. The Program Manager (Residential Services) position is relied upon for ethical implementation of services and support to ensure quality services that are in accordance with all applicable regulations. You are delegated the authority, responsibility and accountability necessary to carry out assigned duties and to respond to emergency situations. Since you will be working with people, you must be prepared to effectively deal with emergencies, health-related issues and unexpected interruption of duties. We will ask that you be flexible in routine, daily assignments, site assignments, hours of work and philosophical commitment. Your actions will affect another person’s life, and it is expected that you will be a positive, desirable role model. Since you will be interacting with numerous professionals on a frequent basis, you are expected to represent yourself and the Agency in a positive, professional manner at all times.

This program is looking for second shift - 2p-10p and every other weekend would range between 1p-9p or 2p-10p. This is working with 2 males who do require some assistance with self-care.
